DESCRIPTION:set the scene…\nPicture this: you’re sat on your friend’s parent’s living room floor\, surrounded by your given school friends. Everyone is huddled around a Dell laptop\, collaboratively writing something obscene to share on someone’s Facebook account. Everyone’s eaten too many sweets and drunk too much Fanta Fruit Twist\, so it’s time for a film… what do you decide? Obvs\, it’s gotta be: ANGUS\, THONGS AND PERFECT SNOGGING (2008) !! \n\n\n \n(cannot WAIT to hear AARON JOHNSON – when he was just AARON JOHNSON\, and in my head my husband – say jorjah on the big screen again omg) \n\nabout the film\nGeorgia wants a boyfriend – and boobs – and a smaller nose. The problem is\, she’s just too funny for boys to even LOOK at her – hun aren’t we all. But then Robbie enters her world OMG! and he’s GORGEOUS!!! \nGeorgia thus embarks on a mission to change her entire personality and NOT be funny (because boys don’t like girls who are funny) to get this boy to like her – we’ve all been there lol \nGet ready to hang out with the Ace Gang and hate on Slaggy Lindsay and practice making out with our hands and saliva boy in this ultimate cringe era film xx \nWe are so excited to relive our pre-teen days and celebrate the wonder and cringe that is GURINDER CHADHA’s adaptation of LOUISE RENNISON’s CONFESSIONS OF GEORGIA NICOLSON series. \n\n \non the day!\nThe Pioneer is pretty easy to get to: \nwalk: It’s just off Harpenden Road by the Ancient Briton (Harvester’s). There are paths on both sides of the road\, and can also be accessed through Bernard’s Heath. It is approx. 15 min walk from St Peter’s Street. \ncycle: There are plenty of places to lock your bike around the venue\, and as it is off the main road\, it is very safe. It is approx 3 min cycle from St Peter’s Street. \nbus: get the 302 (Hospital)\, 321 (Heath Farm Lane) or 84 (St Peter’s Street) \nCome along from 8pm for an 8:30 screening – jim-jams and leisure wear is encouraged and you are welcome to bring along anything else that will make you cosy. We’re talking blankets\, pillows\, whatever!
