OPEN HOUSE film club exists to connect people aged 18-30 to their local independent cinema. together we can watch films in an interactive and social way around st albans city and district.

we are a group of young adults collaborating with venues around st albans to create film-based experiences for other young adults. we want to bring fun and nostalgia into film and play around with how we connect with films.

check out our first blog post which has our origin story

film club

film club is not exclusive nor does it involve any kind of membership. film club is showing regular film screenings on a theme or idea. everyone is welcome and we always try to make our screenings as accessible as possible by having a pay-what-you-can policy and using captions.
all audience members can hang out after the film if you want to – there is no need to rush off! we have made a great community over the last 6 months are we invite you to join!

events

we curate events around films and themes, hosted in a specific venue around hertfordshire. these include a selection of local music, food, film, film-based activities and competitions.
