open house film club exists to connect people aged 18-30 to their local independent cinema. together we can watch films in an interactive and social way around st albans city and district.

we are a group of young adults collaborating with the odyssey cinema and other site-specific venues to create film-based experiences for other young adults. we want to bring fun and nostalgia into film and play around with how we connect with films.

film club

we hold a residency at the odyssey cinema. we host a monthly screening at which is supported by an online programme of films following a theme. all audience members are welcome to hang out after the film downstairs. you can watch as many or as few of the online suggestions as you like, chat about film, or just hang out.

we curate events around films and themes, hosted in a specific venue around Hertfordshire. these include a selection of local music, food, film, film-based activities and competitions.
